“Let’s Dance!” Competition Terms and Conditions

1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) are an agreement between Helen Doron Ltd. (“Helen Doron”) and you, a Participant in the “Young Heroes: Let’s Dance!” competition (“You”), which is a part of the “Young Heroes on the Move!” campaign organised by Helen Doron (the “Competition”). Please read these Terms carefully. Participation in the Competition means You agree to be bound by these Terms and the consent form You’ve signed.
Any new updates, upgrades, or new services, shall also be subject to these Terms.
This contest invites Helen Doron English network participants to submit dance performance videos to the “Young Heroes on the Move!” song and dance.
The Competition is based on voting which is open to the general public, and the top popular videos will win prizes described below. This means anyone can vote, but only HDE students and teachers (including Helen Doron Enrich students) can participate.
Additionally, there will be a special prize category – “Helen’s Choice”, one video that will be personally chosen by Ms. Helen Doron and win a special prize.

2. Participant Eligibility
2.1 Open to all Helen Doron English network members, including students, teachers, Learning Centre/Studio (“LC/LS”) staff, and participants in the Helen Doron Enrich programmes.
2.2 You must have a “helendoron.com” or “helendorongroup.com” email address to apply. Self-employed teachers (“SETs”) can apply through their Master Franchisee(“MF”).
2.3 Participants under the age of legal majority must obtain parental consent for participation and video sharing.

3. National/Master Franchisee Responsibilities
3.1 Facilitate communication between Helen Doron headquarters (“HQ”) and the local franchisees.
3.2 Keep franchisees updated on campaign developments.
3.3 Ensure franchisees understand and adhere to campaign guidelines.
3.4 Submit signed parental consent forms for minors’ participation and video sharing to Helen Doron HQ.

4. Learning Centre/Studio Franchisee Responsibilities
4.1 Obtain and verify written parental approval for minors’ participation and video sharing. LC/LS shall submit all signed consent forms to the MF (as detailed above).
4.2 Ensure submitted videos meet specified quality and content criteria, as detailed in section 6 below.

Upload videos directly to the designated campaign website.

5. Competition Timeline
Submission Period: January 15 – April 30, 2024
Voting Period: May, 2024
“Helen’s Choice” Judging Period: May, 2024
Winner Announcement: June 4, 2024
Prize Allocation: June 2024

6. Video Submission Guidelines
6.1 Content: Videos must include dancing to the “Young Heroes on the Move!” theme song and choreography, containing at least the first verse and chorus. 6.2
Format: Preferably vertical (9:16) format. Horizontal (16:9) is acceptable.
6.3 Resolution: Minimum FHD resolution (1080 x 1920). Videos should be sent via cloud services.
6.4 Music: Use the MP3 version of the song available in the Media Gallery.

7. Parental Consent Process
7.1 Upload Consent Form: When uploading a video to the dedicated website, You must also upload a consent form signed by the participants or their parents/guardians in case there are minors in the video.
7.2 Terms and Conditions Agreement: During the video upload process, the uploader is required to check the “I agree to the terms and conditions” box. This action confirms that the uploader has received explicit permission from the parents or guardians for the global use of the video for marketing purposes by Helen Doron Ltd. and/or all Helen Doron Ltd. sister companies and subsidiaries, particularly for minors featured in the videos.

8. Approval and Voting Process
8.1 Two-Stage Eligibility: uploaded videos will be approved first by Helen Doron HQ and only then presented on the dedicated website. Criteria – adherence to criteria presented in clause number 6 of this document.
8.2 Public Voting: Approved videos will be subject to public voting on the designated website.

9. Special Judging Committee
Ms. Helen Doron will select the “Helen’s Choice” special prize winner based on:
9.1 Creativity and Originality: Assessing how participants use their creativity to interpret the “Young Heroes on the Move!” choreography, adding a unique flair to their performance.
9.2 Execution and Technique: Evaluating the accuracy and technical proficiency in the execution of the dance moves.
9.3 Expression and Enthusiasm: Observing the participants’ energy, enthusiasm, and expressiveness in their performance.

10. Prizes
10.1 Top Three Entries: Winners determined by public votes.
10.1.1 Individual Category: Up to 3 winners, each awarded a €50 voucher for health-related activities/products.
10.1.2 Group Category: The winning team’s leader (MF/LC/LS or SET) will be reimbursed for a maximum amount of €300 to sponsored health-related activities/event, subject to Helen Doron HQ’s prior written approval and invoice.
10.2 The “Helen’s Choice” category will win the same prize as in clause 10.1 and a special acknowledgment from Ms. Helen Doron.

11. Social Media Integration
11.1 Participants are encouraged to share videos on social media using specified hashtags.
11.2 Videos posted on social media platforms are for promotion and do not replace official contest entries.

12. Consent and Rights
12.1 Global Reach Consent: Parental consent for submission of their child’s video to the contest page equals to giving Helen Doron Ltd the right to use this video on a global scope for promotional purposes, including images and edited compilation videos.
12.2 Responsibility of Uploader: Ensuring full understanding and agreement to these terms by parents/guardians.
12.3 Intellectual Property: By submitting a video, participants grant Helen Doron Ltd. and Helen Doron Ltd. sister companies and subsidiaries the rights to use the video globally in its marketing initiatives.

13. General Terms
13.1 Participation in the Campaign is at your own free choice and risk.
13.2 Helen Doron is not responsible for technical, hardware or software malfunctions, misdirected entries, lost or unavailable network connections, failed, incorrect, late, garbled or delayed electronic or other communications or other technical problems related to the Website, the Internet, or the network of any service provider.
13.3 No purchase is necessary.
13.4 Helen Doron accepts no responsibility for any damage, loss, liabilities, injury or disappointment incurred or suffered by You as a result of entering the Campaign. Helen Doron disclaims liability for any injury, damage, costs or expenses incurred by You or any other persons relating to or resulting from creating the Video, participation in the Campaign or downloading any materials in connection with the Campaign.
13.5 Helen Doron shall not be liable for any failure to comply with its obligations where the failure is caused by something outside its reasonable control. Such circumstances shall include, but not be limited to, weather conditions, fire, flood, hurricane, strike, industrial dispute, war, hostilities, political unrest, riots, civil commotion, inevitable accidents, supervening legislation or any other circumstances amounting to force majeure.
13.6 The Campaign will be governed exclusively by the laws of the State of Israel.

14. Dispute Resolution
14.1 These Terms will be governed by and construed in accordance with the national laws and provisions of the State of Israel. You hereby consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of and venue in Israel courts, for all disputes arising out of or relating to the Competition. Notwithstanding any other provisions of these Terms, Helen Doron may seek injunctive or other equitable relief from any court of competent jurisdiction. You agree that any dispute that cannot be resolved between the parties shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action.

GENERAL CHILD MODEL RELEASE
To be used if subject is under 18 years old. I, the undersigned, freely give to _______________ (name of LC/LS) and their legal representatives, successors, and all persons, organizations, or corporations acting with their unrestricted permission to copyright and/or use, and/or publish photographic portraits/pictures and/or videos of my child(ren), and the negatives, transparencies, prints, videotapes, or digital information pertaining to them, in still, single, multiple, moving or video format, sounds, audio, or in which my child(ren) may be included in whole or in part or composite, or distorted in form, or reproductions thereof, in colour or otherwise, made through any global media or format(including but not limited to all online network platforms and all social media), global publications, emails or elsewhere for art, commercial or any other lawful purpose.
I understand that all images and/or videos, in any format, may be used by Helen Doron Ltd. and/or its sister companies and/or subsidiaries for marketing purposes. I hereby waive any claim of remuneration for usage of the images. I hereby waive any right that I may have to inspect and approve the finished product or copy that may be used in connection with an image that the photographer has taken of my child(ren), or the use to which it may be applied. I further release the photographer, _______________________ (name of LC/LS) or others for whom he/she is acting, from any claims for remuneration associated with any form of damage, foreseen or unforeseen, associated with the proper commercial or artistic use of these images unless it can be shown that said reproduction was intentionally maliciously caused, produced and published.
I hereby waive any right for payment and/or royalties for the usage as mentioned above.
I hereby waive any legal rights I may have in the present and in the unlimited future, to sue and/or make any claim and/or argument regarding the above. I waive any right to raise an argument or claim on the subject both to Helen Doron Ltd. and to any sister company/ subsidiary of the aforementioned company.
I acknowledge that this release was willingly signed. I certify that I am the legitimate parent or legal guardian of the child(ren), and am free and able to give such consent.
